So YHC arrive early at 116 to do a short scout mission. Well to my suprise there were some folks engaged in amerous activity at the town commons in a white Mercedes at 6:30. Sorry tangent but for the 116 workout we started at the third street school and went straight through downtown on third street. We had 2 sandbags along for the trip. Well as we were crossing Reade street Doubtfire remarked that there was a hill ahead that would be enjoyable to carry the sandbags up said hill. Well YHC starts that’s not a hill so we found the gentle slope of the new drainage system to be sufficiently sloped for a round of 7’s with merkins at the top and squats at the bottom. From there we resumed our course on 3rd street till we turned right on Jarvis and then left on 4th street. We continued on 4th street avoiding cars as there aren’t many areas of sidewalks (apologies). We then turned right on Eastern and followed it all the way to the greenway. Reaching the greenway we turned left and headed back toward the town commons in hopes that the white Mercedes was still there for questions. Alas when we arrived the park was sans Mercedes. So we continued to the amphitheater where we took turns tossing the sandbags till reaching the sidewalk at the top of the park slope. From here YHC noticed we were short on time. So we gathered our bags and sped off for the flag. Well much to our dismay when we reached the intersection of 3rd street and green street we came across a lost grandmother. So being the caring citizens that we are we ruched to her aide despite traffic. The bearded jester attempted to give directions to no avail. So YHC stepped in and gave her a simple course. We then continued back to the flagpondering if grandma would make it home for Christmas. We arrived at the flag 4 minutes past 8 due to grandmas nonexistent sense of direction and we then circled up.
