YHC was asked to Q by THE Hot Spot at 116 and of course the answer was yes. With everything going on right now in YHC’s life and with the M getting being in the ER, or as Abu told me this morning it’s called ED.. I had planned on writing my backblast earlier but that did not happen. So my weinke was in my noodle but as I drove up to the AO it dawned on me this is an hour workout and not 45 minutes, oh well. YHC arrived early to an empty parking lot and 6:30 was vastly approaching. Stern and Slim Jim (Double Respect) rolled up then Frank the Tank brought up the rear, 6:30 hit and it was time to roll…

Warm-up

Good morning IC- 1

let’s roll…

The Thang

PAX ran 4 laps around the parking and after reaching the starting point we would do 15 squats OYO.

Moseyed to the corridor…

People’s Chair with one PAX member counting to 10, the next 15, the next 20 and then 25.

Balls to the Wall with the same counting concept- 10, 15, 20, 25 (Slim Jim requested a little bit faster count on this one)

Moseyed to the back of the store where there are so many different options for a beatdown. The duel bench and swing set were chosen by YHC and the following AMRAP occurred

Round 1 (8 minutes- 15 reps)

Step-ups and Swirkens

PAX then took a large lap around the fence just to break things up a little. Slim Jim stated that we should all run on the train track from one side of the river to the other side. (could be an idea for future Q’s.

Round 2 (7 minutes- 15 reps)

Foot-release Squats moseyed to swing set with feet in the swing PAX would bring knees to chest

Round 3- (8 minutes- 15 reps)

Mountain climbers and Hallelujahs

YHC informed the PAX that we would be going 15 minutes of Mary’s but hey Abs need work too. Moseyed to the jungle gym for the 4th and finally round…

Round 4- (7 minutes- 15 reps)

Fat Boy Pullups (encouraged PAX to try different grips) and dips. Half way through YHC called an audible and did Irkens and dips.

YHC kept eye balling the monkey bars and thought lets have a little fun why don’t we. Each PAX member attempted to cross the monkey bars after shoulders were already burnt out. Stern made it half way, Bambino made it all the way, Frank the Tank and Slim Jim made it a 1/4th of the way.

Moseyed back to the flagged squared up and on our six for some Marys with each PAX member getting involved.

Bambino- LBC and Chill Cut and “broken windshield wipers” (same concept as windshield wipers but in LBC position)

Stern- WWI and Flutter Kicks.

Slim Jim- Leg Climb

Frank the Tank- Side Plank

YHC ended the workout with something Bono did one morning at the GoodFight…

Have a Nice Day- this just gives the PAX remembers time to reflect and take in the glory of the day that God has given us

I thank God every morning that I wake up and for another day. Whether I post with my F3 brothers in the morning or am in the fartsack it’s always amazing to wake up and take on the days challenges knowing that the good Lord is on my side. With everything going on at my job and in my life right now, it’s a blessing to be able to go post and be there in the gloom with my brothers. F3 has been a blessing in my life and helped out in so many ways. Thank you THE Hot Spot for asking me to Q.
