YHC knew it would be a small crowd with a majority of the ruckers kicking ass in Pinehurst so I reached out to Chimi ahead of time to make sure he was a HC for EC. Pulled into an empty parking lot and started to get worried about Chimi but I saw some headlights pulling in and to my surprise, Chimi showed! We logged 3 miles and Ma Bell was waiting for us at the flag. Ma Bell got to EC a few minutes late so he went on a solo EC Run. The three of us was still waiting for the Q when Mr. Double Respect, Cold-Cut showed up to celebrate 1,000 posts. And yes we are going off of the Double Respect count so congrats to Cold-Cut… strong work brother!

0700 approached and no Hiny so we had an official Ghost Q. YHC went ahead and took the lead so we took off towards campus. Once we arrived and the center of campus, there was a bunch of flags still up from Veteran’s Day. A few of the flags fell down from the wind so we took a few minutes to put them back into the ground. YHC then told the PAX that we were going to honor some Veterans so we went around an each PAX talked briefly about a Vet close to them and then called out an exercise where we would perform 22 reps of that exercise, in honor of the 22 Vets that take their own life each day. We talked about a father, a couple grandfathers and a roommate/best friend. Exercises included; ruck curls, overhead presses, Merkins and bent over rows.

We then headed to the ECU parking garage. We took the steps up to the very top. Performed People’s Chair with each PAX giving a 22 count. We then performed a series of exercises at each level going back down to the ground floor. Exercises included; squats, merkins, ruck rows and ruck swings. At the bottom level, the wall was calling YHC’s name so we performed BTTW with each PAX giving a 5 count.

Left the garage and headed back to 116 via campus to 4th Street to Greene. Got back to the flag 2 minutes after 0800.

Moleskin

Even knowing that the numbers would be low today, YHC was glad to see Ma Bell, Chimi and Cold-Cut. One of the benefits you get with lower numbers is great mumble chatter which makes the miles and beatdown go by faster. So with a bunch representing up in Pinehurst today, we represented the 116 back at home… well everyone except for Hiny ;) Until next time…

Stabler Out
