Q-ing a ruck workout is something YHC initially did not look forward to. After GrowRuck 014 I am excited at the opportunity to have my ruck on and lead a group of HIM. Big thanks to Bono for initiating advancement through disruption!

THE THANG

No warm up needed! It went something like this…

2 Rounds of: (at the shovel flag)

  • 10 Merkins
  • 10 Ruck Curls
  • 10 OH Ruck press

Walk to Town Commons Amphitheater and circled up:

2 more Rounds of:

  • 10 Merkins
  • 10 Ruck Curls
  • 10 OH Ruck press (on second round we held OH for 30 seconds)

Walk to Town Commons parking lot back up to 5th and down to the bridge near the USPS. Shuffled the length of the bridge, then headed to the concrete plant and circled up.

2 Rounds of:

  • 5 Merkins
  • 10 Ruck Curls
  • 10 OH Ruck press (on second round we held OH for 15 seconds)
  • 10 Slow and low Squats with Ruck up front
  • 10 Ruck Swings

Headed back to Shovel Flag. Shuffled back across the bridge.

  • 5 Merkins
  • 10 Ruck Curls
  • 10 OH Ruck press (held OH for 60 seconds)
  • 10 Slow and low Squats with Ruck up front
  • 10 Ruck Swings

  • 30 4 count Flutter Kicks ruck overhead
  • Plank 15 seconds each Pax (5) counting with ruck on
