6 PAX took me up on an EC run at 0500 while 2 EC rucked starting at 0440. It was 0502 and Abu said “are we going to run or just stand and talk?” Off we went. Stopping at 0525 just in time for the fun I had planned. 0530 hit and we were off.

“1-15” IC

1 merkin, rest 15 seconds. (Somebody after this set asked if this is all we were going to do lol. Little did they know….)

2 merkins, rest 15 seconds.

3 merkins, rest 15 seconds.

Rinse and repeat all the way up to 15 merkins. (it doesn’t sound all that hard, but man it adds up quick.

Up/Down OYO

-Shoutout to the one and only Pied Piper for coming in clutch with the music and speaker for YHC. I heard this country song on the radio early in the week that just repeats the words “Up, down” a whole bunch. We held a low squat and whenever these words came up, we did a jump squat (30 jump squats total, 3 minute 15 second low squat hold).

5 pullups, 10 pushups EMOM (100 merkins)

 

10 Wimpie Burpees OYO (burpee then jumping and pulling your knees to your chest)

 

Lunge up the road to the middle building, backpedal back down.

 

Mosey to the wall for peoples chair.

 

The Matt Lauer

-Pax held a peoples chair while each person went through the line and did a foot release squat on everybody’s legs. Bono and Patch really enjoyed this    for some reason?

 

Mosey to the rock pile, grab a rock, hold it overhead and run back to the flag.

 

20 Flutter Kick LBC’s IC

-I forgot about the rocks so we couldn’t leave them here. Rocks overhead and run them back to the pile.

 

Reverse lunge up the road to the building, jailbreak back to the flag.

If you haven’t had a chance to listen to this dude’s story, definitely youtube him and check it out. I don’t condone the language, but this guy’s attitude is spot on about fitness. Hopefully everybody was challenged in todays workout, and pushed in a way that is different than normal. I challenged the PAX at Ruck Ready a couple weeks ago to find a CSAUP this year, sign up, train your butt off for it, and crush it. I challenge everybody reading this as well to do the same. Get out of your comfort zone and push yourself to places you’ve never been so you can accomplish something you never thought you were able to.
