Time was up just as the last reps were being performed. It was a great effort by all pax. The great thing about BL Beatdown is that the sets and intermittent recovery times allow for some great conversation but maximum effort is still required while performing the exercises. For those pax that would like to attend, don’t let the barbells intimidate, there’s always a lower weight option offered for those that need to perfect form or modify due to limitations. Also, be on the lookout for some exciting modifications to the BoydLeeBeatdown format coming soon.
Prayer request – Our Schools and our children, Spinal Tap’s M traveling, Health needs for a family friend of Bambino (or possibly Abu, my memory is a little fuzzy).
It was a great time of pumping iron and becoming stronger men. The Pax migrated to Bagelman after the post where the food and fellowship are always great. T-Claps to Bambino for committing himself to showing up although he overslept. It was good to have him join for the closing rounds and for the mumblechatter. T-Claps to our two strongest Respect Pax for reminding us that “old man strength” is a real thing. These two men are beasts! Great to also have Abu back out at the beatdown, his intensity and conversation are always an asset to any post.
