YHC woke-up Sunday morning and saw Patch’s tweet asking for a PAX to step-up and Q #Breakdown due to his ankle. YHC was with Patch when he took his fall and felt bad that his ankle still looked like a bowling ball so YHC answered the call. With a busy Sunday ahead, YHC put out a quick Tweet regarding EC Ruck at 0440. I was a bit nervous that it would be a solo ruck but Chimi and Just the Tip joined YHC early in the gloom. After our ruck, got a quick prayer session in and then was ready to roll at 0530 with a total of 16 PAX, including one FNG, welcome Tim Powell (now known as Turn and Cough). Circled up, disclaimer given and we were off…

Warm Up
Good Mornings x11 IC
SSH x 11 IC
Michael Phelps x11 IC
The Thang
Quick Indian Run around BLP, stopping at the very last intersection.
At the intersection, Lt. Dan’s all the way down to the circle. Al Gore for the six.
At the circle, PAX would perform the Merkin ring of fire (in honor of Patch and his love for Merkins. PAX would get in plank position and upon YHC’s start, would shuffle to the right, still in plank position, until YHC said stop. At that point, YHC would call out a Merkin exercise and the PAX would perform 10 reps of that merkin exercise. Rinse and repeat for 5 rounds
   Chimichanga- Ranger Merkins
   Wimpie- Wide Arm Merkins
   Just the Tip- Diamond Merkins
   San Fran- Wide Arm Merkins
   Spinal Tap- Staggered Arm Merkins
Moseyed over to the softball field and met at home plate for a little friendly bear crawl competition. YHC called on two team captains; Grammar and Spinal Tap. Teams were chosen and then YHC provided the rules. Teams would begin at home plate and one-by-one, would bear crawl all the way to the outfield foul pole (320ft). Once the PAX get to the foul pole, they could sprint back. If a PAX could not, or would not, do a bear crawl, they could instead lunge but with a catch… they had to perform 10 burpees. If a PAX started with a bear crawl, they could not switch to a lunge unless they took a 15 burpee penalty. Other PAX waiting for their turn, would perform the People’s Chair the entire time. First team to have all PAX complete one turn wins. Losing team would perform 15 burpees while winning team performed BTTW. Team Grammar won and enjoyed watching Team Tap do 15 burpees upside down!
After the bear crawl challenge, PAX moseyed over to the score booth between the fields. PAX partnered-up and staying with their partner the entire time would perform the following exercises at the end of each intersection;
Intersection 1- 25 GOOODDDD Merkins (super wide arm Merkins)
Intersection 2- 50 LBCs
Intersection 3- 75 Monkey Humpers
Intersection 4- 100 Squats
Two catches here were you had to stay with your partner the entire time and after each intersection, you had to come back to the middle and perform 3 burpees before going to the next intersection.
6:15 was upon us so back to the flag…

Really didn’t have much time Sunday to put together a plan for this morning but that’s the beauty of BLP as a Q… so many different areas out here that the options are endless to provide a quality beatdown. Great push by all the PAX this morning, especially during the Bear Crawl Challenge! 320ft of bear crawl is no freaking joke!!! Until next time…
