On a humid February morning that felt more like a humid May morning, 15 PAX gathered to #BuildUp strength for this weekend’s third anniversary convergence. (Be there!)

Warmup – Take a lap, fellas!

Side Straddle Hops x30

Rock Pile – Grab a rock, don’t be like Spinal Tap.
Curls x10
Hallelujahs x10
Tricep Extensions x10
Rock Squats x10
Rinse and repeat with another set of 10 each, then 5 each.

Picnic Shelter – Partner up.
Picnic Table Partner Sit-Ups (partner holds feet so you can slide back to where there’s nothing behind you as you go down) x5
Partner Derkins x5
Rinse and repeat with a set of 10 each, then 5 each.

Mosey back to the flag, the long way around.

The Circuit – Imagine a cone at each corner of the imaginary square. Trying to push the minds as well as the bodies of the PAX today.
Lunge
Side Lunge right
Run backwards
Side Lunge left
Then switch to: Sprint, Karaoke right, Run backwards, Karaoke left

Mary
Flutter Kicks x20
Heels to Heaven (Tonka)
American Hammer (Otown)
James Bond (Cookout) – Cookout sandbagged, claiming he didn’t know the exercises, then hit us up with one nobody had seen. Hammer position, feet up. Hold hands together in center forward for 5 count. Then right forward for 5 count, left forward for 5 count, back to center for 10 count.

COT
For maybe the first time I’ve ever witnessed, there were no prayer requests from the PAX. Hopefully everybody’s just doing really well, or more likely they were being sensitive to the fact that I always bolt as quickly as possible after the workout to get the girls ready for school. Either way, praise for the opportunity to be together this morning and to push ourselves and encourage each other.
