Warm Up:  1 burpee for fun; 20 SSH; 10 high knees

The Thang: Count off in 1’s and 2’s.  Split with your group for an Indian Run around the track in opposite directions.  When the two groups meet stop for further instructions

When the two Indian Runs met about halfway around the track we stopped for a round of Jack Webb’s (1 merkin, then 4 hallelujah’s … up to 10 and 40)  Proceed with the Indian Run back to the flag in opposite directions

Next we did a stack exercise of 5,10,15,20 (5 burpees,10 copperhead squats,15 WWI and 20 shoulder taps).  5 burpees and run to the opposite sidewalk, then 5 +10 and back to the other sidewalk for 5+10+15, then back to the other sidewalk for 5+10+15+20

Next mosey to the picnic tables for another round of 5,10,15,20.  This time it was 5 dirkins, 10 donkey kicks (against the backstop fence), 15 dips and 20 super step ups

Next mosey to the softball field fence near the track across the meadow from the picnic shelter for BTW, bear crawl and flutter kicks.  All 22 PAX lined up against the fence and PAX 1 would call 10 seconds BTW and then all PAX would bear crawl to sidewalk and run back for PAX 2 to lead a 10 count of flutter kicks.  We did this all the way down the line and finished at 614, just in time to run a quick suicide and make it back to the flag at 615

Prayer Request:  Pee Dee for brain surgery on Friday; Akeem is leaving for the Air Force Thursday; Praise for Rudy posting for the second time; everyone going back to school

Announcements:  The Pirate Radio Football Kickoff Party is next week, Thursday Aug 29 at the Hilton at 7pm.  Come by for the the second F.  The party is FREE and I have tickets with me if you see me at an AO

Moleskin:  Great group of men this morning.  Great push, great mumble chatter!  Happy Birthday to Wimpie!  He is training for the BRR but took time to post for a boot camp Wednesday morning.  It was 529 and the workout was about to start when a car came whipping into the parking lot and out popped Rudy (The ECU Chancellor).  Great to have him post for his second time and at a differnt AO.  Rumor has it that Landry (ECU AD) and some more of the ECU Athletics staff (FNG’s) are posting Friday back at the stadium for First Aid.  Finally, I saw this quote the other day from Abraham Lincoln:

“A man is about as happy as he chooses to be”

Very true.  Happiness starts from within.  F3 has been very impactful for me and been a lot of fun.  Keep spreading the word and help change the lives of others one life at a time.

Until next time ……..

Stern
