A few weeks ago I was approached by Tonka about, not just Qing an AO, but starting an entirely new RUNNING AQ and being a site Q.  I must admit I was a little intimidated because I’m not really what you’d call an accomplished or good runner, nor have I ever been a site Q.  That being said I accepted and here we are.  We came up with a name for the AO and made the announcement to F3ENC.  I took a page out of Cousin IT’s playbook and made a poll on slack in search of those willing to help Q, all the way through BRR.  The PAX stepped up in a big way and took all of the dates except one.  If anyone reading this is interested, it’s still open if you want it, August 10.  The day finally came with a weeks worth of hype.

The Thing:

Leave the Coop Stronghold post and head down to Charles.  Take a right on Charles and take it all the way downtown to 5th.  Run 5th down to Elm St.  Take Elm St. to Greenville Blvd.  Right on Greenville Blvd. and down to Charles Blvd.  Right on Charles Blvd. and down the hill to 14th St.  Right on 14th, up to Rock Springs.  Left on Rocks Springs and over to 10th St.  Right on 10th and over to College Hill.  Take it up College Hill and we made our way back across the parking lot to the shovel flag.  Several of the PAX ended up with a full 10K.

The turnout for an hour long weekday run was great to get in the double digits.  Joining up with the PAX from First Aid back at the shovel flag ended up being a nice treat and great COT.
