The men were gathered under the glow of the CoopStronghold light seperating them from the gloom beyond. Work was coming. The gloom was ready to embrace the PAX, the PAX welcomed the gloom and were ready to take on whatever may lie ahead.

We ran out to charles blv, up to Krispy Kreeme, then down 10th to rocksprings rd. We lost Noonan as he headed back for the start of First Aid.  There we partnered up and ran the tear drop, challenging the partner to make it back first. For some, like Tortoise, this was not a problem. Tortoise blazed the trail the whole morning always leading the PAX, but still making sure to turn back for the six often, never getting to far ahead. His stride look almost effortless, like there was so much more in the tank. Not so for many others of us. Some had crushed a great beatdown at The Good Fight the day before and there bodies would not letting them forget it. Still others tried from runs before, and others pushing to see exactly how far they can travel before the runs dry. It’s amazing what we can do and how far we can go, rested or tired, when keep at it and press on! Fellowship was on point as usual with runs. Was great to see Optimus again as well as other pax iv’e been missing lately. Many PAX traveled down elm st to greenville blv and up charles to the stadium. Others took an alternative route with all meeting back at the flag at 06:15.

It was impressive seeing the drive in every member of the pax. From the men giving their all even if it means walking some, to the man leading the whole way and sprinting to the finish, and all the rest somewhere in between. The PAX may not have gone as far, as fast, or even have beaten the fartsack if not for the men around him. For that YHC is so thankful. It’s an awesome thing to see, and even better to in some way get to be a part of the journey.

Cold Cut (the impromptu First Aid Q) led the combined CoT and took us out in prayer.
