Super Excited that this #AO was launched even though #WestSideStory is being missed. Last season much of our #BRR training took place on Saturday, which meant no #BoydLeeBeatdown! Since the creation of this, we can get our miles in post at #BoydLeeBeatdown. Not only has BLB been awesome, the #Broga before makes it even better! YHC gladly stepped up to take the Q with an immediate plan before it was stolen (thought Footloose was going to snatch a piece of it @ #RunStrong), but the idea was safe. Not only was today going to be a great test, it was Harry Potter’s last post with us. It’s been great to have him in the #Brotherhood and look forward to seeing him soon at future events.

The Thang

0615 – No Strokes in sight, time to go! Mosey out of the Stadium Parking lot, turn left onto Berkley Rd, right onto E 14th St, left onto S Elm St, return for the six at Brookgreen Rd. Gave some quick instructions to the PAX that we would hit 8 to 10 hills. The idea was to go best pace up the hill and back down, then finish with the six. So of course Brook Green was first UP to W Longmeadow Rd and back DOWN to S Elm St., pickup the six.

We continued with a right on Elm, turn left on the Greenway after Stallings Stadium, back for the six at E 10th St. UP Forrest Hills to E 6th St and back DOWN to E 10th St, pickup the six.

We continued with a right on E 10th St., then right onto Ernul St. UP to E 6th St. and back DOWN to E 10th St., pickup the six.

We continued with a right on E 10th St., then right onto S Oak St. UP to E 6th St. and back DOWN to E 10th St., pickup the six.

We continued with a right on E 10th St., then right onto S Elm St. UP to E 6th St. and back DOWN to E 10th St., pickup the six. PAX were starting to figure out the plan.

We continued with a right on E 10th St., then right onto Maple St. UP to E 6th St. and back DOWN to E 10th St., pickup the six.

We continued with a right on E 10th St., then left onto College Hill Dr. UP to the big plant and back DOWN to the crosswalk, pickup the six. It was during this loop that YHC was proud to see Footloose and Gazelle turn around at the right spot, but then they continued back to the big plant (we knew they would catch us though).

We continued with a left on E 10th St. (via the parking lot), then left onto E Rock Spring Rd (T-Bone knew it was coming) UP to 1031 E Rock Spring Rd and back DOWN to E 10th St., pickup the six.

Then UP E Rock Spring Rd, but staying right on W Rock Spring Rd to Edgewood Cir and back DOWN to E 10th St., pickup the six.

Some of FIA PAX were getting nervous on time, but YHC had a plan!

Continue on E 10th St to Charles St. (pickup the six, some took a different route), down east Charles St. through parking lots till it runs into Charles Blvd, continue till E 14th St (pickup the six), continue to the Stadium Greenway to top of hill where the first parking lot entrance on the left (pickup the six), lock arms and finish together. About half the PAX finished locking arms and even the 3 @ #FirstAid came back to finish with us. Sure we finished a few minutes late and YHC should have had some PAX take an alternative route, but the goal was to finish together arm in arm.

Harry Potter and his move. Pray for connections to be made as he did here over a year ago after coming in hot from Korea. Pray for his job as a 5th grade teacher.

Abu’s M was diagnosed with Cias and issues with stress.

July Challenge is almost a week old and PAX are pushing themselves!

#Burpees4Emerson is going awesome, almost half way to the goal. Many of the PAX knocked out their assigned burpees after the picture.

Many of the PAX set goals for this week, I wasn’t sure we were going to meet them with today’s challenge due to all the hills. However most of the PAX hit almost at least 6 miles, some were closer to 7.

Team #CoopStrong had almost all of their team at the post, lowly 2 from #MJLD, and only 4 from #PTSD! Team #PTSD you will see some #Burpees4Emerson coming your way soon!
