BRR Sim – Year 3

Tonka has asked YHC a time or too about a BRR Sim for this year, but hadn’t planned one. It seems like the past 2 have somewhat been spur of moment, so why not keep the tradition! The idea was put on the #SlackMachine, questions were raised and thought we had 4 HC’s. YHC brought it up at the #CoopMile and stressed that #BRR PAX did at least 2 of the legs! This is YHC’s 3rd year of the event and it remains intimidating, but with our brothers it will get done!

Leg 1

Ran around YHC’s neighborhood for 5.1 miles in constant rain with Underdog @ 4:30pm on Saturday! He told YHC the day before he was definitely in for each one and looked forward to it! YHC was worried that it would be tough to make it in the possible 100 degree temps, but somebody prayed for rain! Don’t think we even sweated due to ALL the rain! Mr. Belding attempted to make it, but had to turn around due to flooding roads on Arlington!

Leg 2

Ran around YHC’s planned routed in Ayden for 6.5 miles @ 12am on Sunday! This was to be the toughest one mentally, but the PAX showed and it was awesome! YHC knew the traffic would be light and route would be fairly simple and figured Rafiki would be a part! He wasn’t able to make the earlier one due to out of town plans. He showed for this one, as well as Mr. B, Nice Body was coerced into it, and YHC talked Underdog into meeting him to make sure we both made it. He had only been in Ayden once before and was unsure where #TheCollardPatch was. Mr. B ran almost his fastest 10K time ever with Nice Body pacing him along. Maybe running in Ayden, makes Mr. B just a little bit faster in wonderment of seeing former students/parents.

Leg 3

Cable had the Q at #TheCommons, and hopes were a nice cool down run. Right away he said it would be different, 30 minutes of sprints and then a cool down run. YHC was able to go at a decent pace, Underdog, Mr. B, and Rafiki held their own as well.

Moleskin

Underdog is one of those unsung heroes of F3! He quietly shows up and puts in the work while encouraging other PAX along the way. He was a tremendous asset to have along the way for this plan!

Mr. B saw the word #CSAUP and YHC’s name attached and he was an HC right away! Here is another guy that everyone in F3 that guys recognize as an unstoppable force! YHC thought he had him down at #TheSummit, but he cannot be stopped! This is another man that YHC has been fortunate to have in his corner!

Rafiki made YHC feel like he may not be able to make this opportunity, but it would have been strange without him being there. Why, because he is at everything that YHC seems to be at! If it has F3 attached to it, look for him – he’s there!

Nice Body had many questions, but yet could not withstand the EH that was placed upon him! He is a man on a mission and has dropped some lb’s because of it! Remember this used to be the King Splasher of F3…

Thanks to all the men that encouraged me along the way either by spoken words, messages, or by just being there! Saturday am YHC also did the #ECRuck, #Broga, and did #BoydLeeBeatdown. No simple task was available, but YHC was not worried because it would be alone!
