It was a beautiful morning at the stadium and 5 warrior eagles showed up for the ridge. The Pax requested pain and I aim to please. We started with a warm up of the usual fun, side straddle hops, Abe Vigodas, arm circles, and various stretches. Believing we did not look goofy enough in front of all of the arriving volleyball and football players, we moseyed to the pirate statue doing imperial walkers to remove any doubt.

Once there the group remained and did the following exercises while the Pax rotated individually running up the steps nearby changing exercises when the Pax returned: Merkin, Squats, Flutter Kicks, Hallelujahs, Mountain Climbers, LBCs, Dips, Squats and Derkins.

Rinse and repeat…. after round two, the Opposum appeared as a new exercise. Here the Pax assumed various opposum like positions and played dead for one minute.

Next we moseyed to the steps near gate six where we stayed in the seated chair position while rotating individual stair runs until each member had run the steps. This was followed by a similar activity where we maintained balls to the wall while rotating individual stair runs.

Moseying again to the flags in imperial walker mode we did step ups for 1 minute with a 30 second break x 2 rounds. This was followed by a new exercise, the Irkin Shuffle. On the raised circular benches at the front of the stadium we started in an inclined plank position and while maintaining that posture shuffled around the benches and lunged to the next bench where we completed the circle. We shuffled both ways to complete the circles.

As time drew to an end we circled up for some concluding stretches and flutter kicks.

Unspoken prayers went out and prayers for individual Pax with health issues and family members with other struggles.
