Looked like it was going to be only YHC and Cold-Cut who were going endure the pain at #EaglesRidge, and as we were deciding whether to go for a coffeteria or go on with the thang…?? As we were getting to know a little bit more about each other, BP and Eastbound and down showed up!!!

Warm-up

The Thang

  • Moseyed to the hill next to the tennis courts.  Sevens were done OYO.  Squats and Imperial Walkers.
  • Moseyed to the hill next to Arlington Blvd. parking lot.  At the top of the hill, a 5 burpee penalty was AWARDED due to BP and East Bound being late.
  • Elevens was the next exercise with WW1’s at the bottom of the hill, and the PAX had their choice of exercise at the top of the hill.
  • Moseyed back to the flag….. YHC had “men-makers” ready but we simply ran out of time… Sure thing for the next Q opportunity though!

One of YHC’s favorite Scripture is Psalms 121, the inspiration behind running the hills…. Too many times we want to do things our own way, and when we fail, the blame goes around and most of the time towards our God. But the beauty of this promise is that God is the one who always delivers, always is on time, and never fails! We are blessed to serve such an awesome God!
