We started the workout with the usual warm up of side straddle hops, arm circles, good evenings, good morning and various stretches. From there we moseyed to the meadow for some head to head competition.

We pitted two teams against each other in a competition of speed and strength. One member of each team would race to the other end of the meadow and back while the other pax did Carolina dry docks, when they returned the next pair would race with the other pax switched to squats. We continues in this fashion until each pax completed the run. After a relaxing 10 count the endearing term “rinse and repeat” was heard. The squats were modified to Suzanne Somers.

Next we moseyed to the circle of benches near the flag poles and we lined up around the benches for some fun with dips and racoon crawls. Each pax held the dip position while we rotated an individual racoon crawl around the circle. When each pax returned we did a four count dip in cadence to get the blood flowing. We resumed the dip holding position until each pax completed the racoon crawl.

From there we moseyed to the Pirate statue and paired up. Each team of two completed a total of 150 jump ups, 250 LBCs and 350 hallelujahs while alternating stair runs at the nearby staircase. We next moved to the tunnel of love where we held the people’s chair with arms extended straight out until fatigued. Four pax remained….Grout, Cold Cut, FNG Egg Pin and Minnesota Fats….to take it up a notch I caled for six inch arm flutters and after one minute none of the four warriors had fallen and I got bored so I yelled “recover”.

We moved on to some nearby picnic benches and did step ups for a minute or two and then ran down a nearby hill returning up as Imperial Walkers three times. At that point we moseyed back to the flag for some concluding stretches and one minute of the reflective opossum. During the reflective opossum the pax were challenged to think of how they could help someone today. What could they do to have a positive impact on a specific person today.

We were blessed to have an FNG today. Raymond posted his first time today and was given a name that had already been assigned so I have defaulted to a second choice for him, “Egg Pin”.

We concluded with prayers for family members, friends and understanding.
