Easy Rider asked me about a month ago about being the Q at Eagle’s Ridge on this date and with it being in early March, I figured the odds were that the weather would be balmy enough for me to come out of hibernation and even take this Q challenge.  Most PAX I work out with know that I’m not a cold weather guy and my non-hibernation threshold is around 40 degrees.  Colder than that, I typically fart stack and stay in hibernation until it gets more balmy.  When looking at the weather forecast about a week ago and saw that the temperature forecast for this morning would be well below my threshold and close to freezing mark, I knew I had to get the gonads to wake myself up from F3 hibernation, get up that morning, and make it to the site and Q the workout, no matter what.  Also making it to the workout were Easy Rider and Cold-Cut, where it seemed as if the the borderline freezing temperatures didn’t seem that bad once we got warmed up and going.

Warm Up:

Side straddle hops x15

Good mornings x15

Butt kickers x15

The Thang:

Prayer Requests:

Easy Rider’s Ex-wife, Wife, Kids, giving thanks for the PAX coming out to this workout and being here this morning, and the Nation.  Cold-Cut’s daughter and son-in-law, who are now parents of new twin boys who are still in NICU but off the respirator and doing better, our teenagers, and Nation.  Rootin Tootin’s prayer requests for our Nation, World, politics, etc.  Also people in Alabama who are suffering from the tornado that recently killed over 20 people there.

Group photo of shirtless PAX by stadium skull and crossbones and American flag.  From that photo, Rootin Tootin has much work to do from his extensive hibernation to get into F3 shape!

Moleskin:

Despite the challenges of the cold weather, you don’t want to let another F3 brother down by backing out from being Q and keeping your commitment.  It was a good workout and the weather didn’t have any impact on any PAQ, especially after getting warmed up.  Great experience to workout and fellowship with these F3 brothers.
