So I was surprised on Thursday Night when Italian Stallion tweeted at me with the Q for First Aid and I tried to think of a good workout that would be easy to plan. So I pulled a page from Cadre Cleve’s handbook during The HTL last weekend and pulled out…

THE DECK OF DEATH!

Hearts: 8-Count Bodybuilders

Diamonds: Squats

Clubs: 4-count Flutter kicks

Spades: Merkins.

Jokers: Wind sprints to the end of the meadow and back.

During the Workout I added in Surprises with four extra jokers to up the heartrate and used the recently learned and already hated 8-Count bodybuilders as a full body card. We pushed hard and grumbled at the 8-count bodybuilders and my inabaility to seperate spades and clubs (aka don’t bring me to vegas). We made it through 3/4 of the deck and were joined in the end by Jock Itch and Pied Piper after their Ruck

Prayers:

-Kingpin during his continued treatment. Be sure to call him up or meet up with him

-Former teammate of Pied Piper’s 2.0

-Brother at F3 Cape Fear of their loss and his family

For the prayer I offered up a poem I found in the archives and I felt was worth sharing

I asked God for Strength That I might acheive, I was made weak that I might learn humility to obey. I asked for health that I might do greater things, I was given infirmity that i might do better things. I asked for riches that I might be happy, I was given poverty that I might be wise. I asked for power that I might have the praise of men, I asked for all things that I might enjoy life, I was given life that I migth enjoy all things. I got nothing that I asked for, but everything that I had hoped for; Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered. I among all men, most richly Blessed.
