Stepping into Q the oval can be a tad daunting. I’ve Qed my fair share of workouts, but this was different then what I’m used to so of course I accepted when asked. Had not seen String in awhile, so texted him yesterday for the headlock and boom he was in! Glad to have him there this morning for the push. The question was raised if I was qualified lol, so figured we shall see. It was said as long as you have shoes your qualified, good point. 5:30 struck and we were off.

Mosey to track for a two lap warmup.

Instructions were given for a fartlek workout, but also time trials and to set some PR’s on Strava.  After each set you run 1 recovery lap.

4- 100’s

2-200’s

1-400

1-800

1-1600( The mile was tough on tired legs, but everyone pushed really hard here.)

Work back down, most guys finished with the mile but some got back to the 800.

Recover back to the flag.

As always a pleasure to Q, all Pax today are BRR veterans or signed up for the first time like me and Aquaman(I believe) . Super excited, yet a little nervous, but glad to finally commit to running this thing. I have seen all the one has, so looking forward to it!
