ECers headed back to the flag to pick up PAX ready for the beatdown. 5:15 a.m came and it was time to get things moving.
Disclaimer given and received. YHC made the announcement that the workout may require some to modify or get assistance from another PAX. PAX were to use their best judgment.
Warm Up:
- PAX “managed” 10 ruck-on pullups
- A mile of good livin’
- PAX “managed” 10 ruck-on pullups
The Thang:
- PAX left the friendly confines of Alice Keene Park and headed to the Kiss-n-Go portion of the Wintergreen Primary parking lot. The trek encountered a recently hit deer (RIP Bambi) and a tractor tire. While both were appealing, only one coupon was used:
- One PAX stepped inside the tire and used beams to farmer carry the coupon as far as they could go around the oval
- Once PAX completed their round a new PAX would pick up where they left off
- Every other PAX would select a PT exercise for the group before embarking on their carry
- Upon completion of everyone’s turn, PAX returned to the flag
- PAX got back to the flag for a round-robin of pass the tire:
- One PAX stepped inside the tire and performed 10 ruck-on deadlifts (in cadence)
- PAX inside the tire called out PT exercise for all other PAX while deadlifting (in cadence)
- PAX accrued 2.58 as a total mileage total (thanks to Ma Bell for logging)
Beatdown ceased at 6:15ish.
YHC has wanted to bring the tire coupon to Ruck Ready for a while and am thankful to Lynard Skynyrd for the opportunity to Q. He will do a great job taking the momentum Bearded Jester has going.
