This workout is based on several exercises that the CARC has listed in their workout video library. This is the library where all the Heavy Drop Workout training explanations are located. At least four F3ENC studs are signing up for the Heavy Drop Training that starts at the end of July. Who else will join?  12 studs joined us this morning.

Warm-up – The warm up consisted of merkins, squats, and WWI with ruck overhead.

The Thang:

  • 8-count body builders x 8 x 4 rounds
  • Duck Walk w/Ruck out front x 25 yds x 4 rounds
  • Flash Abs x 10 x 5 rounds (flutter kick with LBC ruck overhead)
  • Cleve Climbers x 8 x 5 rounds (Mt Climbers even w/hands)
  • Ruck Flop x 15 reps x 4 rounds
  • Ruck Thrusters x 8 x 4 rounds
  • Red Line – Slick Burpees for 5 min AMRAP

Then we learned how our bodies recovered while moving. We made two .5 mile loops in under a 15 min pace. Everyone pushed through…we had to with Jock Itch setting the pace.

COT/BOM– Praises were offered for the return of Pied Piper. After 9 months of rehab from the Tiger Woods back surgery, he posted with his F3Custom Heavy Wilmington shirt on. He still has to modify according to Dr orders, but he was all smiles today. Prayers were offered to Vanilla after he was bitten by a copperhead. Praises that his 2.0 just got a dry bite and is doing well.

Moleskin– The thing I love about Heavy Drop Training is Rufus’ motto, “No one cares what you can do fresh.” Life is about mustering the intestinal fortitude to push yourself further then you ever thought possible. Now imagine pushing yourself that hard 4 times a week with a battle buddy and accountability. That is what makes you stronger. That’s Heavy Drop Training.

The men of F3ENC learn how to push ourselves during the Flood of Hurricane Matthew. We pushed for 14 days serving the Community. This is our version of Pushing the Rock, so we are prepared when called to do Gods work. Here’s that post – https://www.f3enc.com/backblasts/general/pushing-the-rock-3/
