I had been checking the weather all Monday; it looked like a chance of rain, and 100% chance of sweat.

The Thang

Destination: Intersection of 5th and Reade. The direct route was Elm to 5th. The extended route was to run blocks in-between 5th to 4th.

Once all the PAX was gathered together at the destination, everyone partnered up. In the words of Tonka, “Know your body and your partner’s body.” Partner A run up 5th to Summit St. while Partner B did butt kicks (soon to be Boston Butts) and high knees to Cotanche. Flapjack.

Next stop Trustee Dr. for sprints up to the three crosswalks (furthest, back; 2nd, back; closest, back).

With 14 minutes left, the final stop was the flag. The direct route was through campus and 10th. The extended was 5th to Elm. Some PAX even pushed further by running a few blocks.

Run the hill in the parking lot for the 6 and one burpee to round out the 45 minutes.

Thank you all for good spirits and allowing me to Q. I know I am not much for attention, but truly thank you for your support. We don’t leave a man behind, nor leave them where we found them. This is all too true for my life. You all did not leave me behind, nor leave me where you found me. The PAX has helped me stay afloat this year, and prepare me for my next season of life. Now I am looking towards Sanford, NC with great hopes and expectations.
