To celebrate my 55th birthday, I ran my version of the Kettlebell 55.  All reps and counts totaled up to 55.

Warmup

11 KB Halos

11 KB Good Mornings

11 Merkins

11 Side Straddle Hops

11 KB Sling Shots

Total – 55 reps, then a quick mosey

The Thang

11 KB single leg deadlifts each side, KB horn carry for 55 yards…down and back 3 times for a total of 55 reps per side

11 KB swings/1 Goblet squat – repeat 5 times increasing Goblet squats by 1 each time for a total of 55 KB swings

5 KB swings between each decreasing round of Merkins starting at reps for a total of 55 KB swings and 55 Merkins

11’s KB Rows (10,1,9,2,8,3,7,4, etc), mosey 55 yards and back, 55 rows on each side

11’s KB curls (10,1,9,2,8,3,7,4, etc), total of 55 curls each arm

Finish up with KB side lunges.

Count-o-rama, Name-o-rama, COT and prayer
