YHC, Patch, Stabler, and Dude Perfect for EC. On our way back to the AO, Patch took a gnarly fall and roughed up his ankle and knee real bad, had to bow out for the beatdown today. Prayers for him and a quick recovery!

When we returned to the AO, 3 pumps and Fruity Pebbles were there waiting. YHC was surprised about the low numbers… but we still put in work, and worked the upper body. 5 circled up for the beatdown, and it went something like this:

Warm Up

  • SSH – 15 – IC
  • Good Mornings – 15 – IC
  • Merkins – 10 – IC
  • Cotton Pickers – 15 – IC

Tha Thang

We started off by moseying to the stairs next to the Murphy Center. First would be some triple nickel. The PAX would run to the top of the stairs, do 5 squats, run down, do 5 merkins, this equaled 1 round, we performed 5 rounds of this. Plank for the six.

After the triple nickel, we moseyed to the circle benches for some 11’s with Dips and Irkins, while performing lunges in between.

Then we moseyed to the wall by Gate 6 for PAX 10-count people’s chair. After that, YHC explained we would do something a little different. Chicken Peckers (BTTW w/ shoulder taps) have become a staple in most of YHC’s beatdowns, so YHC had to incorporate them today. Everyone assumed the BTTW position, and then we would take turns doing 10 4-count chicken peckers (while everyone continues to hold BTTW). This proved to be nearly impossible. YHC started off with 10, and then once FP got through his 10, everyone was starting to fall pretty rapidly. YHC changed the count to 5 reps for the remaining PAX.

By this time, our arms and shoulders were definitely feeling it. So YHC decided to mosey to the meadow for some DORA 1-2-3. USUALLY with Dora… the PAX performs 100 reps of an arm exercise, 200 reps of a leg exercise, and 300 reps of an ab exercise. Well YHC decided to flip that. Each PAX grabbed a partner. Partner 1 would run to the first light pole and back, while Partner 2 did exercises. Flapjack, but go to the next light pole. Continue to go up the ladder of light poles and back down the ladder until completion. The exercises were:

  • 100 – WWI’s
  • 200 – Monkey Humpers
  • 300 – you guessed it… Merkins

The Merkin portion seemed like it took forever, hence the name of the BB. When one partner only had to go to the first light pole and back… the other partner could only get 5-7 merkins completed before the other returned, so it dragged out all the way to 0612.

Mosey back to the flag for some Fruity Mercuries until 0615.
