When Grammar and Vanilla started their feud, YHC knew that The Collard Patch was the right place to hold their QvQ.  I also decided that if we were going to have one QvQ, we might as well have four!  Unfortunately, GvV was postponed to next week, so YHC challenged Noonan to get the battles started.  He quickly agreed and it was on!

Warm Up (provided by AquaMan)
10 Merkins
5 burpees (oyo)

Rafiki – Part 1
Mosey to the rock pile
American Hammers with rock x10
Flutter Kicks with rock x10
WW2 with rock x10
Sumosquat high pulls x10
Each PAX (but one) were instructed to put their rocks back.  PAX lined up on each side of the fence and began a pass-the-rock-through-the-fence-indian-run.  This went on for three sets of fencing.  Rock was thrown back in place
Karaoke down the driveway. Karaoke back.
Time was called…

Noonan – Part 1
The time ended on R1Q1 and the PAX were further away from YHC’s planned 1st area of exercise. We mosied quickly to the picnic tables to complete the first exercise: HIMS (for all the high impact men that showed this morning across the Nation)

  • Humpers IC x15
  • Irkins (Erkins) IC x 15
  • Merkins IC x 15
  • Squats (Copperhead) IC x 15

The Q’s instruction for the next exercise raised some mumbling including but not limited too, “I don’t know about this Noonan”

  • Burp-ups – 20 OYO [Burp-Ups – Standard Burpee done (typically under monkey bars) where you do the Burpee, then when you jump you grab the monkey bar and go straight into a pull up.

To finish off the first round, we semi-jailbreaked a half lap around the park track and then time was called…

Rafiki – Part 2
Mosey back to picnic shelter
One PAX climbed atop a picnic table. Remaining PAX lifted table of the ground.  First PAX completed five merkins while suspended in air.  Each PAX took a turn on top of the table.  About half way through, one of Ayden’s finest pulled in and shined his headlights on us.  YHC assumes he decided we were crazy because he left quickly.
Mosey to volleyball courts for the Tunnel of Love.  After each PAX had the opportunity to crawl through the tunnel, we completed the lap around the track that Noonan started, finishing with a trip down “the slide”.  Surprisingly, all PAX survived.
Mosey to the driveway
Wide Receiver Drill – PAX were divided into WRs and DBs and faced each other.  On “exercise” DB’s backpedalled for 3 steps, turned and ran.  WR’s sprinted straight ahead.  Quickly turned into a race to the 2nd street light.  At this point, we realized our FNG was FAST.

Noonan – Part 2
Partner Up and 1st exercise is:

  • Catch Me If You Can – Partner 1 performs 5 Burpees and then sprints to catch the Partner 2, who has been running backwards trying to avoid as many burpees as possible. The Pax made it across the entire parking lot and back. Great work…All the PAX pushed themselves here and are better for it.
At the start of this exercise YHC ask Bono for a two minute warning prior to time ending on R2Q2.
  • Lazy Doras – 100 Merkins, 200 LBCs, & 300 Squats as a team. no running. P1 starts with 10 Merkins while P2 planks, then switch. Until 100 total Merkins reached. YHCs team got to 60 merkins before two minute warning was upon us.

Ended with the final exercise:

  • Howling Monkeys – 5 IC (Ra-Fi-Ki 1, Ra-Fi-Ki 2…Cadence) – we circled, we #CTHT and did Gorilla Humpers. The first person does five monkey humpers followed by the next person and so on. Don’t let go of the ankles! The PAX ended up all being Howling Monkeys. This is definitely not a crowd pleaser, and should not be seen by light of day in a public space, especially with this cadence.

Rafiki: YHC has the utmost respect for Noonan, which is why he immediately came to mind when QvQ was scheduled.  He jumped into F3 with a vengeance and hasn’t let up.  He’s an excellent BRR teammate, a great Site-Q, and, more importantly, a true #HIM.

Noonan: However the votes look, it was an honor for YHC to be called out by Rafiki…Rafiki is a true #HIM. Thanks for the challenge Ra-Fi-Ki. YHC had a blast. You have been a major motivating factor in my F3 journey. Thankful for you brother! All PAX, on a serious note, You never know who you make a positive impact on by getting right, living right, and leading right (Hopefully the leaving part is postponed till much later for us all)!! I’m proud to be a part of F3 and to know each one of the PAX I’ve had the opportunity to meet/get to know.  Great beatdown Ra-Fi-Ki!!
