YHC has been thinking about a route that we could do at #TheCommons when he is at the helm again. The End put on the #TwitterMachine that YHC was to have the Q today, so there’s that chance! The ole body has been pretty banged up, but tried to revive it last night with the roller and medicine. YHC had hoped to see his band of #BRRothers and others that will soon be making the trek across the states. Ran into Grammar yesterday and made him an HC. Who else would show???

Warm-up

During your run…

The Thang

Go down First Street till it runs into Fifth Street, take a left. Two options were given before we left #TheCommons, faster guys would be challenged with at least 6.5 miles, others could take around a 4.5 mile loop and monitor the six. Those that took the longer loop took a left onto Tenth Street, then right onto Greenville Blvd, then right onto Elm Street, then left onto 5th, then right onto Reade Circle and back to the #ShovelFlag. IF you got back earlier, do repeats around #TheCommons.

The shorter loop took a right onto Tenth Street and then were given the same directions as above (right onto Elm Street). Heard that some took on the Mushroom and College Hill before making their trek to the #ShovelFlag.

Moleskin

Shortly after the first mile, I was still surprised to see Gazelle and Grammar were still beside me. I figured they did not know the route and were hanging back, partially still possible… Gazelle asked me if I was ready for the BRR. I think I replied, that I didn’t think I was. I seem to be logging less miles than last year and and my pace is slower. Some say it’s due to age, some say humidity, don’t really know… However, after feeling great on this run I would have to say I am (or as much as I could be)! Are you ready for the BRR or whatever you are training for?
