The idea was to run a hill each mile without announcing it.  Didn’t want the PAX to think about having to do hill repeats now we are in the middle of BRR season.

The Thang:

Big loop around with a few zig zags and circling back for the 6.
Down 1st to Elm
R on elm circle back at 10th
R on 14th and R on College Hill circling back at the bottom of the hill
L up rock spring R on 14th circling back at Charles
L up Charles circling back at Greenville
Back to TheCommons via Charles/Cotanche

Prayer Requests:

The End (double prayer requests thanks to the straggling 6)
Hot Pursuit/Jock Itch losing their jobs and needing guidance from God to find a new one
Half Pipes M and her loses and family and friends

Moleskin:

This weekend for YHC was a hard one training wise.  I went after a hard activity that blew my quads up, then ran 2 run/18 miles on hurt legs in 24 hours, which is what I wanted 8 weeks from BRR.  To remember the hurt that BRR brings, in particular to the 6 man team, not to say 9 and 12 men teams do not have there unique difficulties.  But coming out of yesterday morning stair climber workout, my legs did not want to run, but thanks to THIS group of men, Tonka and Tortoise dealt with my negative mumble chatter and slowed down for me, and waited for me but pushed me.  Again, this morning, it hurt to step out of bed, but by the plan of God I got up to meet the men of F3ENC.  And again this group without knowing it pulled me through the struggle of each step hurting, again reminding me of what is to come at BRR, but most importantly what THIS group is about.  We were again reminded of this at the COT with T-Bone leaning on us hard to be there for our brothers during the struggling times.  We (I) sometimes get caught up leaning on each other during our physical time of boot camps, running, and rucking, but during times of emotional struggle, lose of a job, loved one, injury, whatever it may be, the emotional hardships is where our bonds that are formed during the hard mornings become stronger.  Reach out to those that are struggling privately, words of encouragement go a long way.  Where there are many gathered He is present, let us continue to pray for our brothers, let them know we are there for them no just in the gloom but at all moments.  Have a blessed weekend!
