I have to be honest I have been slackin’ when it comes to posting since Blue Ridge Relay and NYC 26.2.  If I had to have an excuse it would be that I am just exhausted from setting an alarm early to get a workout in when the sun isn’t out.  I have been running plenty just at other times.   I have been running for 7 years now and found a love for running in 2018. Crazy, I own a running store but just now loved running.  But there is still something missing on the run that can’t be replaced.  Something that comes from the fellowship, the push at each AO, and the bonds that are formed.  Insert The End headlocking me into Qing at TheCommons.  I felt this would be a way to finally get me back out to committing to Sunday’s, Sundays turn into other days.  Just take some consistency.

The Thang:

No Warmup just run. Instructions: Keep Elm St. and Cotanch/Charles the boundaries.  Start running down 1st street to Elm, right on Elm, Right on 5th to Cotanch, Left on Cotanch, Left on 10th st. After each mile PAX were instructed to turn around and sprint 30 seconds towards the way we came.  YHC forgot a big instruction, after 30 minutes turn around and repeat back to the shovel flag.  YHC and Tortoise were cruising along with young buck Budweiser until 4 miles un and he started to trail back.  I whispered to Tortoise that Budweiser will sandbag until the last ½ mile.  Which he did, Budweiser decided to show up ½ mile from the shovel flag to run past us.  I say he has been hanging with String Bean too much.

Prayer Requests:

Pax Injuries

Moleskin:

Minus the mistake of not letting PAX know to turn around after 30 minutes to head back to the shovel flag, it was a great push, mileage looked anywhere from 5-8 miles depending on the PAX.

Have a blessed Christmas
