If our F3 workouts were on TV, #TheGoodFight would be a comedy for sure today.  “What happens when an absent minded old man Q who is apathetic about cadence leads a bunch of Type A and whining 20 and 30 somethings (and some 40 somethings) in a beat down?  Hilarity ensues!”

There was a large turnout of EC guys this morning rucking, but I didn’t get their names.

Warm Up:

  • 10 “Hot Spot” Burpees
  • Those that can run, take a lap.  All others do 50 LBCs

The Thang:  After a short demonstration and practice of all the movements, we jumped right into the workout.

Deck of Cards:

  • Diamonds:  Rakiki Press with Happy Feet
  • Hearts:  American Kettle Bell Swings
  • Spades:  Bicep Curls
  • Clubs:  Tricep Press
  • Jokers:  50 LBCs or take a lap

Ended with 2 minutes of Mary led by Noonan and The Closed Hand.

Each set of cards gave us 100 reps, but because we had to repeat several, we did well over 100 on some.  It was so awesome having so many new guys that I have not met before joining #TheGoodFight.  And then to have Jock Itch and Hot Spot back in made for a great crowd not short of conversation and lots of shade thrown.  #Mumblechatter has been on point at The Good Fight lately.

COT:

  • Prayer Requests:  Noonan’s mom has hip surgery today, one of Hot Spot’s employees had a blood clot, and one of Rafiki’s co-workers had a stroke
  • Announcements:  Silverback has the @ at First Aid, Back Hoe has the Q at Westside, lunch tomorrow at Abrams, F3ENC anniversary convergence at BLP a week from Saturday on February 16
