When: 4-25-2019
QIC: Candy Cane
PAX: Spinal Tap, Candy Cane, Cousin IT, Coldcut, NoIDeer, 5 Way, The Situation, Silverback, The Closed Hand, Grout, Rafiki, Jerry Maguire, Haavaad, Cousteau

YHC got to Paramore Park and set up the tractor tire. EC Ruckers and other PAX started pulling in and YHC enjoyed seeing everyone grimace at the sight of the tire. Quite enjoyable, really.

EC Ruckers: Cousteau and Silverback (aka Silver Alert)

Clock hit 5:30 and the YHC let it rip.

Disclaimer given and received.

Warm Up (in cadence):
• A MASSIVE GO CANES WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO for the PAX
• Side Straddle Hops x 20
• Merkins x 10
• Collard Pickers x 10
• Windshield Wipers x 15

The Thang:

• PAX moseyed down to Evans St, thus removing YHC from Cousin IT’s “least likely to run during a Q” list. YHC is thankful to F3 for pushing my running.

• Upon the return, PAX formed a circle with their kettlebells and YHC assumed the position inside the tractor tire with wooden beams for handles (inserted into the tire opening on each side of the body). Directions for the circle:
1. PAX inside tractor tire determined number of reps for entire group
2. PAX inside tractor tire determined kettlebell-centric exercise for entire group
3. PAX inside tractor tire completed deadlifts equal to the number of reps the entire group completed kettlebell-centric exercises
4. Once PAX completed the exercise, all moved to their left, adopting another PAX’s kettlebell or the tractor tire for the next exercise
5. All movements were performed in cadence, called by the tractor tire inhabitant
6. No duplicate kettlebell-centric exercises were allowed

• PAX left the circle (with many cheers) and moved to the picnic shelter for 21’s. Due to time constraints the 21’s were modified to 11’s (with many cheers):
1. Merkins without kettlebells (cause, duh)
2. Super Step-Ups with kettlebells

• Returned to the flag for a round of Mary (Spinal Tap hogged Mary and murdered the PAX with regular, double-time, and super slow flutterkicks… ouch).

Beatdown ended at 6:15.

Many thanks to Silverback for the opportunity to Q #TheGoodFight. Hopefully the Cypress Glenn van eventually showed up to take him back.

Prayers: Rafiki’s family traveling, Johnson’s family in Grifton, Grout’s family’s business, Duff’s family member’s health concerns, Easy Rider’s new medication, students to finish strong, #Murica.

Announcements: Travis Manion service ruck (donations are needed and appreciated), PAX lunch at Zaxby’s on HWY 11 Friday at 11:45 a.m.
