The idea of a running only AO made for a nice, easy first time Q. Drove out there yesterday, mapped something out and implemented it today. Pax of 10, made for great conversations at whatever pace you wanted to run. 05:25 the rain was coming down … it went away but made it’s return at the end …

The Thang
– come out of the park to the left, down Church Street, down Railroad Road, across Vernon White and end up at Sam Jones BBQ restaurant. YHC was a little behind the leader but String Bean and Cousin IT took a self in the smokehouse with the pit master and a whole hog. After selfie time, we turned around and went back.
Got into downtown Winterville and the rain started again. Made it back to the flag right at 06:15. Good run. Some got over 5 miles, YHC ended with 4.8.

Welcome back to Booty! He crushed right at 4 miles. Welcome back Hat Trick! He crushed 5 miles with ease. This is a great AO! If you haven’t experienced this yet, you really need to. It’s always great to find new places to run and being able to do so with brothers makes it even easier. Good luck to Half Pipe as he runs his first marathon this weekend. The rain didn’t slow us down, it made us stronger!
