Bad Boy had the genius idea of coming up with the QvQ challenge. YHC was the first to respond that he was in, the challenger took some time to be determined. Once that tweet was put out there, Strokes was the first to respond! Plans were spinning inside the noggin and definitely didn’t want to repeat anything. Two original workouts were planned with props and it was on! Snow fell last night and thought it might only be the QvQ. When YHC arrived, Bad Boy was there to see would be there first and to watch the setup. Strokes pulled in the Strokes Time Zone and YHC was anxious to see what he would get out of his truck! The disclaimer and rules were given by Bad Boy; asked him to give an extended disclaimer due to the conditions.

The Thang

Round 1 by Strokes

Body Drop Run (stop moseying when body part is called out just long enough to tap it on the ground, then continue on) to back parking lot. Calling on various PAX to pick the body part.

3 sets of 10 Mike Tysons with Bear Crawl modified to Squats between sets.

Continue with the Body Drop Run till time finished.

Round 2 by Cousin IT

Brought bags and buckets of balls and released them before the PAX arrive.

Teams were constructed and lined up along the left field fence.

The following instructions were given once we got in the fence and continued till they were ready:

Baseballs (The Long Ball) were placed outside of the fence. To retrieve a Sammy Sosa had to be completed to the balls. Each ball meant 10 Burpees when brought back and put with the teams (max 2 balls).

Softballs (The Big Ball) were placed in right center field. To retrieve a Griff run had to be done. Each ball meant 15 Bobby Hurley’s when brought back and put with the teams collection (max 2 balls).

Tennis Balls (The Used to be Fuzzy Balls) were placed in left center field. To retrieve lunges had to be done. Each ball meant 20 WWI’s when brought back and put with the teams collection (max 2 balls).

Most of the balls were collected before time was called, YHC quickly counted the Softballs to see what would happen later…

Round 3 by Strokes

Mosey to back side walk for a version of no run Dora – Sets of 5 Merkins, 10 SSH, 15 LBC’s all IC for AMRAP/till time is finished.

Round 4 by Cousin IT

Mosey to the 10s courts, no we are not playing with my balls anymore…

Since Team 2 picked up more Softballs the following happened:

Team 2 had 5 Partner Pickups Each Partner, Peoples Chair for the Six.
Team 1 had 10 Partner Pickups Each Partner.

Mosey to the Amphitheater, Bad Boy suddenly remembers the 2 CMU’s that YHC carried out at 0 Dark Earlier…

Had the teams lineup in plank formation toward the opposite wall. The person at the back would bear crawl to the front, while the next to last would do curls with the CMU till the bear crawler reached the front. They would then pass it to the person it front and crawl forward. Foot Release Squats for the Six.

Teams then lined up in Al Gore formation toward the Amphitheater. The person at the back would lunge to the front, while the next to last would do push press with the CMU till the lunger reached the front. They would then pass it to the person it front and lunge forward. Time was called right before reaching the stairs.

As soon as the idea of QvQ challenge with IT was suggested YHC excitedly accepted. Knew it would be a great time. Had fun today trying to keep PAX engage while Qing, and being led through IT’s fun and unique ideas while getting a break from Qing. Was a great time! The new tradition continues as no matter how the vote lands, the PAX always win.
