12 Days of Christmas

YHC wanted to incorporate the Christmas spirit into the workout so I came up with the 12 Days of Christmas: A workout for each day. Each one is a gift as I have never done most of these workouts.

Day 1- 10 Burpees OYO

Day 2- 10 Yurpees OYO: Burpee with a clap merkin and tuck jump at the end.

Day 3- 10 Kraken Burpees OYO: burpee with 3 hand release merkins.

Mosey to hill behind school busses.

Day 4- Burp Back Mountain- Pair up, 100 burpees combined, 1 PAX runs up hill backwards and down forwards 5x while the other partner completes as many burpees as possible. Switch and repeat until 100 burpees are done between the 2.

Mosey to the football field. Run a lap

Day 5- Star jack IC- Pretty much a jump squat extending your legs and arms out like a star.

Day 6- Never Surrender IC

Day 7- Bolt 45s- The Colt 45s of legs

Day 8- Day Taylor IC- Jack Webs but with squats and lunges

Mosey to the wall. Peoples chair. Instead of counting we named our favorite Christmas movies with no repeats, then our favorite Christmas songs.

Day 9- Weezy Jeffersons- On your 6 legs straight. Legs together at 90 degrees. Lower legs to 6″ then back up the 90. IC

Day 10- Outlaw: On 6 Legs straight, Legs together making an “O” with your feet. 10 to the right and 10 to the left

Day 11- Chill cut Peter Parkers IC

Day 12- Captain Thor: Jack webs with WWII and American Hammers

It felt great giving such a tremendous beatdown this week. I hope everyone recovers well from it. Showing up to the toughest workout of the week takes a lot of courage and I commend all the PAX that showed up. As you all know by now, I have been challenged by Grammar for a QvQ challenge. Since waking up is harder than Grammar’s workouts, thsi should be a breeze. This brings a lot of excitement for me and I hope all the other PAX are excited as well. The showdown will be some time in January at an undisclosed location. You will have to keep your eyes on Twitter for the updates.
