Introduction

Fair warning was given that YHC is not a licensed professional and that we were going to Push the World!

Warm up

We started with some Michael Phelps

Moved on to a taste of what was coming in “little circles”

Went on to “Cold Cut side straddle hops” other wise known as the overhead clap

Finished with a round of side straddle hops.

Mosey’d to the track.

The Thang

YHC called upon his relatives the “Quarters” horse to start off by doing 10 Merkins then running to the quarter mark of the track and doing 15 Merkins, trotted over to the next quarter point and pushed out 20 Merkins, then galloped over to the third quarter mark for another 25 Merkins with a final strut back to the start point. With the first lap complete, we set off for round 2, this time with Diamond Merkins. There was much mumble chatter wondering “Why?”…

With Round 2 complete we moved over to the goal line.

We partnered up and a demonstration was provided on how to do Partner Elevated Merkins. Cold Cut increased safety awareness about feet placement for older/injured PAX who apparently prefer feet placement on top of their buttox bones… This exercise was supposed to be a “10” count similar to a “Seven’s or Elevens”. This was a strange concept to understand since it wasn’t 7’s or 11’s but 10’s. After much explanation by YHC, we started by doing 9 merkins at the start point, switching with your partner, then running to the midfield point and do 1, switch turns and then run back to the goal line. Once all PAX completed the event we mosey’d to the wall.

Here the demonstration was provided for Rocky’s best training method the Chicken Chasers. This was the inverted mountain climbers started from the balls to the wall position. A set of 15 repetitions were completed before we moved over to do the overhead clap, little circles to the front and rear, and some more merkins. Mumble chatter increased so more chicken chasing was done to quell the yapping. All the PAX became stronger individuals with the additional 2 rounds of the aforementioned set.

YHC reminded to remember everyone deployed and the upcoming anniversary of D-Day.

Moleskin

YHC wants to thank all of the PAX that participated and are undergoing this continued growth of being HIMs for their families, their place of businesses, and their community. It’s an honor to be given the opportunity to share this experience with you.
