Well we missed the rain by just minutes and we had our open window to begin our workout.  I wanted to do something a little different for the PAX and something that would push their lungs to capacity.  Something we don’t do enough of.

We started with a bang.  This was a count down that went 10, 10 9, 10 9 8, 10 9 8 7, etc all the way to one.  All of these exercises were done quickly with no rest in between.

10 SSH, 9 Jump Squats, 8 Mountain Climbers, 7 Crunches, 6 Walking Lunges, 5 Hallelujahs, 4 Merkins, 3 Burpees, 2 Squats, and finished with a one minute plank.  Heart rate was up.

After the PAX completed this circuit we made a quick mosey over to Main St. where we used the lit trees on the street as markers for a suicide ladder.  We used 5 of the trees that were spaced at about 100 yards at the furthest point.  The PAX had to work their way up the ladder 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and then back down the ladder 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.   Now the heart rate was pumping and the lunges were starting to suck wind.  After another short mosey back to Festival Park we finished off the day with a TABATA style workout with various exercises on a 60 second work and 20 second rest schedule.  Jump Squats, Merkins, Chill Cut Plank, Flutter Kicks, Crunches, Heal Touches, Speed Skaters.

It was great to see the men push themselves this morning and work to become better to start off the new year.  COT and prayers followed.

Till next time….Enron
