0527, Is anyone going to show?  What am I going to do?  Leave and go home. Run Strong will be long gone by the time I get there.  Headlights coming up 1st st.  Slowing down, could it be a F3 Pax?  Low and Behold – Nice Body.

Well 0531, let’s go down 1st st. Right on Jarvis, Left on 2nd st around cul-d-sac, now to the other end of 2nd.  Back up the hill right on #TheSummit and then right on 3rd street.  Down to #116, turn around back to Greene street.  Right on Greene to Reade Circle and up Charles Blvd. to 10th st.  Right to the top of the nipple, back down (thru Construction zone) Left on Evans, Rt on Reade Circle to 1st St.  THAT’S WHEN IT BECAME INTERESTING.

I mentioned to Nice Body on the nipple about having one more mile and I would hit my goal of 500 miles for the year.  Easy 1+ miles back to the shovel flag – having the thrill of hitting that 500th mile while running with my F3 brother and also knowing there were knew facilities at the Commons, it just seemed to be the perfect moment. I mentioned to Nice Body the oncoming urge, he mentioned sprint, so I took his advice and took off running for the light at the end of the tunnel.  I came upon my destination and stopped my Garmin Fenix 3, for what I knew would not count towards mileage, but give the relief only a runner knows.  Not really believing in the multi-gender bathroom crap, I pushed the door, because it was the closest and the women’s was to the left.  Locked.  Maybe 0613 was to early for multi-gender bowel movements.  To the right, I pushed on the men’s door. Locked.  Oh boy.   I went to the Women’s, you guessed it, Locked.  Now this is about the time Nice Body strolled up to the lighted Architectural wonder and said, “Do you just want to call it”?  What? I was thinking Defecate in my pants?  No way, I’m in a park…it’s an open facility, unfortunately a well lit facility.  Nice Body, “You can make it to a gas station”.  I know, Krispy Kreme is always open.

I told my F3 brother, “see you later”.  Off I went,to the car.  There are 3 stop lights and 1 stop sign between #Thecommons and McDonalds.  Krispy Kreme was the fourth stop light and it was red.  To far this time, but the golden arches proved to be worthy facility, one that I would recommend if the light is red.  Never fear Krispy Kreme, one of my F3 brothers will see you soon!

Thanks Nice Body – always a pleasure running with you!
