The Thang:

We took off on 1st street up to do some hills for the sake of #TheSummit.  We turn on Summit Street uphill to Third Street and over to Jarvis to go downhill back to First Street.  Then, we went over to Wood Lawn uphill back to 3rd and over to Rotary back downhill to 1st Street.

We unleashed the speed demons and headed East on 1st Street where it intersects with 3rd.  Our speed demons overshot that and it gave the 6 (me) a chance to catch up.

Here, we headed down 3rd Street to #116. This time, Nice Body and I caught up with Underdog, Matlock and String Bean just in time to help them as they were pushing an SUV across Greene Street that had run out of gas.  After a short conversation, we finished our route to #116 where we turned around and went back uphill  on 3rd street, turned around and repeated the down and up to #116 before heading back to the flag at exactly 6:15.

Everyone put in about around 4.5 miles despite stopping to push the car.

Prayers:  Nice Body’s Grandfather and family, Matlock’s sister, The Elliott’s, and a prayer for all of us to recognize the importance of using our time wisely and spending time with our children.

Moleskin:

Despite the storms and continued threat of rain, I was happy to see such a great group of 5 guys show.  I really think “the gloom” is not an accurate name for the F3 work outs with such positive attitudes.  I am thankful to have found this group and to be a part of it.
