We welcomed a FNG and made the proper introductions. Our warm up consisted of 10 Good Mornings, Happy Jacks, Annie’s, concluding with a Circle Burp.

From there we travelled to the ever dangerous and often mysterious Bermuda Triangle. After dividing in 3 groups, we bear crawled, crab walked, and lunged along each leg of the triangle. At each cone, we performed 5 burpies, first doing them with a twist, secondly on one leg, and thirdly on the other leg, emphasizing form and core strength. All this was done to some music straight from Bermuda itself. Most importantly, no one was lost in the Bermuda Triangle, never to be seen again.

After a mosey to 112 West Second Street, better known as the Courthouse (jail in the basement), we tackled the Matlock G Block. We divided into two groups, starting with 10 Merkins, up front steps and down, 10 LBCs, ran around the back of the courthouse, bunny hopped up a flight of stairs and down, back around to the front; then 9 Merkins, and so on until down to 1. A great song playlist consisting of Third Day and others inspired all. Duct Tape lead a great core plank workout until the 6 was in.

Finally, we returned to the Waterfront for a plagairized “Double D Wurpie Shuffle.” One fall, WWII, Jump pull up, jog to first bench, 9 Hydraulic Squats, back to Gaylord’s ledge, 2 falls, etc. A few (Q included) did not quite finish by 8am but as the Q I called it (with some prompting from Flo). COT held, FNG named (Skirt Chaser), Jesus praised! God Bless the USA!
