YHC woke up around 0400 and wasn’t sure if this workout was going to happen due to storms in the area. Thankfully the storms pushed through and we were able to get one last workout before The Sasquatch. I wanted to accommodate the ruckers and the runners so I put out on twitter to bring ruck. The workout went something like this.

Warm-Up

  • High Knees (IC)
  • Butt Kickers (IC)
  • Circle Burpee (11)

The Thang

Ruckers were told to ruck to the Presbyterian Church and Al Gore for the runners if they arrived first (.75 mile each way). Runners went down and ran the neighborhood tear drop loop and converged at the Presbyterian Church with the ruckers (1.5 miles). PAX were put onto 2 teams for a series of 3 relay races. Each time your team lost a race you added 5 burpees. First was a backpedal for a down and back of the parking lot. Second race was bear crawl down the parking lot and a sprint back. Last race was a bunny hop down the parking lot and a sprint back. The team of ATB, Tiny D, Web Gym, Cheesehead and YHC won all 3 races! Runners ran back to flag and the ruckers rucked. Back at the flag we did a ruck snake wave in the parking lot. Laying down shoulder to shoulder we passed Bench’s ruck down the line and running to the front after we passed ( we got really wet).

Mary

  • In honor of Bench we did The Bench ( Flutters until failure/ 3 merks) for minute and half
  • We had burpees from the relays. Threw audible in and winning team did 7 while other team did 8.

COT/BOM

  • Dr. Randy Parker
  • Soft Shell traveling to Colorado and Arizona for 2 weeks
  • Sasquatch safety on Saturday
  • Sign up for the Squatch
  • Free baseball game Thursday ( Bartman has your first beer)
  • Pasta Dinner at YHC’s house Friday night ( BYOB/BYOW)

Moleskin

YHC wanted to change things up and try something different today. It wasn’t the hardest workout but it was nice to have a change of pace and try something new. YHC defiantly wasn’t expecting to roll up and have 11 PAX with the crappy weather. TCLAPS to all who rolled over to the Village today! Until next time.
