Low Impact my gluteus!

Yhc has always enjoyed going out Tobacco Road, and was excited when I got asked to Q there by Scotty Moe.  Was planning a difficult workout (heard that the village people are tough sog’s), but my ankle was not wanting to cooperate, so came up with 2 winkies to choose from.  Decided to work in a little bit of “low” impact theme by Cold-Cut, and wanted to incorporate some Tyson’s after watching a little bit of the 42:1 – 30 for 30.  Pulled in the parking lot, and saw Bench, Bartman and S. Moe get in from EC ruck.  Here’s how it went.

Warm-up

• 15 Copperhead Squats – IC

Thang

• Slow moseyed to the wall at the round-about.  1st Round
  • Hold People’s Chair – 20 Count for each Pax
  • Plank to Upward Dog – 20 Count for each Pax
  • Plank to Downward Dog – 20 Count for each Pax
• 2nd round
  • BTTW – 20 Count for each Pax
  • Plank to Upward Dog – 20 Count for each Pax

Announcements – Silverback has got the Q at Westsidestory this Friday.

Moleskin: YHC was hit hard when friends at church lost their son last week.  We’ve all lost loved ones, and Heaven forbid we will ever get to understand the feeling of losing a child.  The beauty though of having faith and hope in the Son of God who conquered this enemy called death, that if we trust and believe in Him, we have the assurance that we can meet those who have fallen asleep in Him again!  In this season, and every season, love a little better, be more compassionate, and above all, continue to share the love of Jesus Christ with those we have and will make connections with.  Thank you Scotty Moe for the opportunity brother, and great push by all!
