I’d been asked multiple times to Q and I couldn’t keep saying I wasn’t ready.  So I researched the Exicon and started coming up with ideas.  It didn’t take long before I knew what my VQ would be….Deck of Death!!!

Warm-Up:

Good Mornings x10

SSH x10

The Thang:

Mosey to the rock pile for Curls for the Girls x5.  Make sparks and mosey to the Island of Love where I revealed the fun…Diamonds=Lunges(both legs count as one), Clubs=Squats, Hearts=Dips, Spades=Merkins, and Jokers=Q’s Choice.  All exercises were completed at the Island but whenever a Club or Spade was flipped, we sprinted to the Tennis Court fence and back before the exercise.  After the first card flip, 10 of Diamonds, we noticed Cousin IT coming to join the fun.  It didn’t take many sprints before the negative mumble chatter began so we modified and ran to the small bridge and back, half the distance to the court.  We pushed on despite several high cards and before we knew it, the first Joker popped up.  Q decided Burpees x5.  About a fourth of deck in, the second Joker was flipped and Money Shot was called on.  WWI x10.  Time was getting close and we only had a few cards left but we made it, ending with the Jack of Hearts.  We then mosey’d back to the flag for Mary’s.  Scotty Moe-LBCs, Cousin IT-Freddy Mercury’s, BadBoy-American Hammers, and Bartman-Windshield wipers.

Prayer Requests:

Cousin IT’s family

FMB’s grandmother

My goal for today was to get through as many cards as possible. I never thought we could complete the deck but we did! Looking back, I personally feel my VQ was a little weak, so next time I Q, you better believe there’ll be more pain!
