School started for several recently with expectations, transitions, uncertainty. God wired men to FIX things as best as possible. At least that is how I have been in my continual fallen state of being a man. ETU (expectations, transitions, uncertainty) is how we grow. Venturing out to something different can be anxiety provoking (not like ordering cheese biscuits and some to go from, ‘Little Rocket’ when used to a fish sandwich). Digging deep, pushing the rock, being in a ‘sifter’ are all great ideas, but without effort these are just ‘ideas’. Getting comfortable with the uncomfortable takes a toll and by jingos, that is when it is important to reach out. This was reminded to me when at Hot Pursuits this week for some 3rd F ing.

So, I sunk my Shovel Flag at the entrance of Farmville MS, as a means to recognize and be inviting to the FNG, who had never gone there before; and who did not show today. (Gotta keep on head locking men). I had my big truck tire planted also as a preview. The other corner of the Green Mile I had placed dumbells. 6:58, Bad Boy was called upon to provide the time, as we headed toward the shovel flag. Wouldn’t you know it as the disclaimer was given and we were in position that Bartman and Tiny Dancer come prancing in like they had already been at ‘Little Rocket’ for breakfast.

SSH; Monkey humping position, pushing down the arce, holding it stretching the groin; stretching left then right. (Now the two penalty for being late burpees).

The Thang T O D A Y : while the tire is flipped 5 times, the PAX is bear crawling until it is their turn. On the other end awaits those planted dumbells. About face> while holding dumbells, do a merkin (pushup), into a burpee, into a merkin, bear crawl with weights 5 steps, repeat…until 5 burpees completed.

Rest of the PAX alternating WWII’s and WWI’s until it was their turn. There was some mumble chattering, (all under the guise of heavy breathing) at this pain juncture brought on by the Cut…Run backwards (“Crap. My ankle.” Declared Wallstreet) around the front lawn on the side-walk, where each PAX loved leading various rounds of Butkis (fast step ups), People’s Chair, (Dark Web was so cool wearing his shades the whole time; might’ve been hiding tears of pain, lol), Irkins, Dips. Every PAX admired each as WWII’s and WWI’s was the rage, back to back.

I don’t know who quit counting but all of a sudden, like a planned event, it was 8:00 and time to count-off.

Name-o-rama. Prayer requests and COT.

YHC prayed us up to Our Father for this day that He has made, for spoken and unspoken concerns.
