So after an alarm clock failure on Friday and missing my own Q at Westside story I thought I would really need to bring some heat this Saturday morning to make up for my mishaps Friday.

Warmup:

20 side straddle hops

20 good mornings

high knees around the circle while each pax yelled “down” for everyone to drop down and do a burpee

The Thang:

We started with partnering up and running backwards up a steep hill, doing one burpee at the top while the partner is doing LBC’s at the bottom of the hill as a team until 200. Directly after that we did the same thing running backwards up the hill burpee at the top while the partner does merkins as a team until 100.

Next, we moseyed over to a long straight stretch of road for the Bridge of Hate! This is when the pax would hold a plank position about 2-3 feet apart while the first pax box jumps each person until joining everyone in the plank position at the end. We did this Indian run style for about 100 yards until the stop sign was reached.

After that we lined up on the ground in an American hammer position with knees up and everyone had selected a rock where I had them pile them all on the end of the line. While holding the American hammer position we passed each rock down the line until the pile was on the other side of the pax line and then back again, we repeated this 5 times.

We moseyed over to the “Island of love” this is a brick traffic director about one foot high with 3 different sides to it. First we did 11’s with box jumps onto the island and Derkins. We then did two round going around the island of love with 20 box squats, 20 lunges and 20 dips on each side of the triangle after making our way around this twice pax choice we decided to go for a little run.

We grabbed the flag to show our American pride in the community while jogging around 4 short blocks over to pax house ATB for our group photo to finish the day after we made our way back

No announcements were made pax FMB and Pothole had prayer request for family and friends as well as unspoken prayers.
