Yesterday after the 30 lbs lighter Fruity Pebbles Q’d #TheGoodFight, he announced he had the Q again tomorrow. YHC immediately thought he would tell him, that YHC would do it… Guess when you workout with brothers in the gloom, they start to read your mind because later he sent YHC a DM wondering if YHC was interested in Q’ng… Several PAX posted to see who the Q was going to be. Grammar had HC’d and was even planning on a #Kotter returning. Also one of the 2 Village People, HC’d. The PAX were gathered and YHC recognized everyone, except one guy (perhaps he was a Kotter YHC never met). People started to question who the Q was and Fruity Pebbles gave in, by that time it was time for the…
Tonka again stressed that we start with SSH as FP did yesterday, instead YHC went his standard opener 8 Copperhead Squats IC.
Grammar earlier suggested High Knees and Butt Kickers, so we did 8 of these each IC.
We were warmish, so it was time for…
We headed toward our start, some PAX like Aquaman enjoyed the walk…
Since String Bean was in attendance, but did not have his ladder the PAX were informed that this is what today was all about…
Start from the fence side moseying towards the building, stopping at the first and second boulevards. We did Merkins (5, 10, 15, 10, 5). Then back for the six.
We then partnered up for Partner Throwdowns. The PAX got really excited and wanted to perform some wrestling moves. The route was mosey to the cut through between the school and Church and do 5 reps each. Then mosey past the Church and do 10 reps each. Then mosey to the flag and do 15 reps each. On the way back run backwards and down the ladder same locations, but other side. YHC asked the unrecognized PAX who he was, found out it was the long lost Circuit Rider who is soon graduating. Mosey back for the six and run forward while they are running backwards to get them down. Many were enjoying the fellowship pace…
Starting from the school moseying towards the fence, stopping at the first and second boulevards. We did Squat Curb Jumps (5, 10, 15, 10, 5). Then back for the six, which YHC was left way behind! The PAX blew through this one so YHC had a plan for the next round.
We then partnered up with a different partner for Partner Plank Slaps with the same instructions as the Partner Throwdowns.
Starting from the school moseying towards the fence, stopping at the first and second boulevards. YHC announced since everyone was so fast, we would do Burpees (5, 10, 15, 10, 5). Then back for the six. Many words and names were used after the announcement, but soon every breath was reserved for their Burpees.
We then partnered up with a different partner for Partner Reverse Crunch/Leg Extensions (Abu like) with the same instructions as the Partner Throwdowns.
Since Tonka’s feelings and weak arms due to all the running this summer were hurt with the Burpees, YHC let him select the next ladder exercise. He went with American Hammers using the route from the school to the fence.
We then partnered up with a different partner for Partner WWII Sit-up Slaps with the same instructions as the Partner Throwdowns. Grammar and String Bean were able to bond and found a way to get up at the same time.
Since Backhoe was Q’ng on Monday @ #Breakdown, he got to select the next ladder exercise. He was like Ralphey in The Christmas Story when YHC asked what exercise, he immediately chose WWII. He then later wanted to choose Merkins. We got up to 15 and it was announced to head back to the #ShovelFlag, however String Bean was in competition with Circuit Rider and was destined to finish first, even though everyone else (including Circuit Rider) were waiting at the Flag.
Hot Spot’s ankle, Pied Piper’s upcoming back surgery and other PAX on IR.
Grammar mentioned a student, Chris, with kidney issues.
String Bean mentioned Hipster’s M, who has been in coma, has opened her eyes a few times recently.
YHC has a co-worker that just started was found in a diabetic coma over the weekend.
YHC closed us in prayer.
Tonka mentioned we are 3 shirts short of an order. Get online NOW and order one, only happens maybe twice a year.
Lunch today is @ RJ’s, come join in the Fellowship!
Aquaman movie is coming soon, December 21st!
Awesome number of PAX to show this morning. It seemed everyone had an enjoyable time, except for the time that was spent doing Burpees (except Grammar, he loves them). Great to see Circuit Rider and all of the Village People back! It’s really weird how I got stuck in Q mode and don’t get to goof around so much. I always have a good time, but so concentrated on leading and keeping the PAX engaged. Thanks for reading this and posting!!!
