“Modified” Four Corners always beats the Four Seasons

YHC wanted to take the Q at #westsidestory since YHC hasn’t taken the Q here since getting the opportunity to be site Q.  YHC pulled into the lot and saw Grammar already there.  Flag was planted, and the anticipation game was on waiting to see who would show up.  Headlights seen, it was Aquaman.  Grammar mentioned that he had an FNG lined up to come, and he didn’t disappoint.  FNG showed up, circled around at the flag, disclaimer given and here’s how it went.

Warm Up

• 10 Good Mornings (IC)
• 15 SSH (IC)
• 5 Burpees – oyo

The Thang

Moseyed to the first of four corners of the building/lot.  Pax performed balls to the wall with a 15 count from one end to the other.  Rinse and repeated, this time with a 10 count for each pax.  Pax were loud but not loud enough to wake up any of the neighbors… Not sure what would’ve happened if Spinal Tap was there to count??

Moseyed to the next corner of the building, but before we got to corner, we stopped to make use of the perfectly spaced parking lines.  There the pax had to do squats at each line with the number being increased at every line.  A merkin was added after the squat(s) at the line before moving forward.  11 Lines, 66 total squats.  It was mentioned by Grammar that he would’ve done lunges in between, and yhc likes to listen when pax have suggestions.  YHC had planned for a mosey to the next corner of the lot, but didn’t want to disappoint, so we lunged our way.  There was a little, just a little bit of mumblechatter…

Once at the next corner, pax continued to utilize the parking lines for some suicides.  At each line pax had to do WW1’s, and climb the ladder at each line after running back to the start.  11 lines, 66 WW1’s completed.

Moseyed over to the last corner which was in the “play”ground.  Pax were reminiscent of the slide at #thecollardpatch, and how “fun” it is to go down.  YHC still has bad dreams at the #westside playground from all the balancing beatdown Abu laid down a week ago.  At the playground, we had to do elevens between swerkins, and step-ups high knees.

• More 2nd F building done during the elevens, as YHC had a blast learning more about the one and only Aquaman!  Now I can’t get the picture of a grown man wearing a toga running around out of my head.

Moseyed back to the flag for a little bit of Mary.  Grammar led out in Heels to Heaven (IC), Aquaman led out in some Freddy Mercury’s and pax ended with stargazers.

• Grammar for his certification test.
• Aquaman’s mother’s healing and recovery from a fall recently.
• YHC’s family in CA, dangers of mudslides and flooding now a problem.
• Praise for YHC losing 30 lbs since joining the F3 brotherhood, so blessed!
