Chasing the Patch, as promised YHC undertook the 3rd and 4th workouts needed to earn the awesome Guerrilla Ops August #RuckingChallenge patch.  After a nice EC warm up ruck we got down to business.

Workout 3 of 4 – THE HAMMER WORKOUT:

BUY IN: Partner Carry 400M As a team, cumulatively complete a 400m Buddy Carry.  Swap at any time.

THEN: 300 ruck swings, 300 sit-ups (no ruck), 200 lunges, 200 overhead shoulder press as a team

BUY OUT: Partner Carry400M As a team, cumulatively complete a 400m Buddy Carry.  Swap weight at any time.

Workout 4 of 4 – MATA MILE WORKOUT

While one partners exercises the other rucks 400M as fast as possible  Exercises were: Ruck squats – Plank hold – Lunges – Flutter kicks

Upon completion – 1 MILE TEAM RUCK Using a Sandbag or another sort of team weight (get creative), ruck 1 mile while alternating who carries the load or carry it together but you must  finish as a team.

This workout was modified slightly to accommodate for the terrain of the AO, but every man put in well over 400M and the finial coupon  ruck was quite memorable.
