Warm Up:  Opened with prayer.  Discussed previous session highlights.

The Thang:

• Watched video segments.  Discussed importance of the surface plate for setting up a race car.  Great segments from Joe Gibbs on a moment in his life when coaching the Redskins that was a turning point.
• Also heard from Josh McDowell in an interview segment about his early rebellion, then realization that the Bible was true, which in turn, led him to make a decision for Christ.
• Read Jeremiah 36:1-3; Jeremiah 36:20-24 – Discussed the verses and context.
• Read other verses from the Bible about the Bible.  Covered additional discussion questions.

Prayer Requests:  Sale of Mayhem’s house; family of the 10 Year Old recently killed; hurricane victims

Moleskin:

• Just as the surface plate is perfectly level and serves as a constant reference for the race car, the Bible is our guide for life.
• God’s Word is reliable and true.  It will stand the test of time and eternity.
• The Bible is alive and active, and can reveal the deep and truest things about you.
• God’s desire is that you study and saturate your mind with His Word so that you can live it out.
