The first ABNS in weeks.  I didn’t realize how much I missed it until I showed up and saw the usual crowd anxiously waiting for a good ole fashioned face punch.  We chatted until 0530 at which point we shared a look of confusion when we didn’t see Candy Cane in the parking lot.  YHC fumbled through a the disclaimer but the message was clear… Don’t get hurt, if you do… it’s your fault, no touching, and keep your distance from each other.  It reminded me of the speech Erin’s dad gave me when we first started dating.  2 minutes into the warmup Candy Cane finally showed up.  Turns out he forgot where ESP was located after months of lockdown.  Anyways… This is what happened.

Warmup 

  • 3 Rounds of the following
    • 10 Single Leg Hip Thrusters (10 each leg)
    • 10 KB Swings
    • 10 Merkins

It was great to catch up with the ABNS regulars after weeks of lockdown and Zoom workouts.  I was especially impressed with Bedtime story who has made his first posts at the two most unleashed workouts in the area.  Watch out for that guy!
