It was a beautiful and cold morning to come out to the Blast Off. First time out here and it was a good one. Thankful for the invitation from RedBox to Q for the PAX.
Before we even started the fellas saw me getting bricks out of my car and starting to get curious on what in the world I was up to; but they would find out soon enough.

at 0530 we started with the welcome and disclaimer
Warmup: Side Straddle Hop, Merkins, Squats, Collard Pickers (had to being from the Collard Patch), and Michael Phelps

The Thang: The whole idea for the workout was we were going to do everything while holding bricks. If any of the PAX dropped a brick that meant we all did a burpee.
Started by going around the big circle and stopped at each intersection.
1. Rows 2. But Kickers 3. Plank-Shoulder Taps 4. Michel Phelps

Back around the flag we did the following:
Bear Craw Drag – Down and back
BatWings
Mountain Climbers
American Hammers
Berkins (Merkin with bricks in hand)
People’s Chair – with Curls being called in cadence by Spinal Tap, so you know it took us a little while

Collard Pickers

It was a great time to hang out with the Blast Off crew! We even took a small breather to witness the Space Shuttle X blasting through the sky. I thought it was a cool coincidence! And yes we had some penalty burpees for the bricks being dropped through out the workout, and even for one brick being broken (cough cough – Underdog).
