YHC stepped in for Grammar who is attending his Grandmother’s funeral. At the regional Q meeting last Sunday there was some discussion about having more Q schools to remind everyone of the standards for cadence etc. YHC thought that with a relatively small number of PAX in attendance it would be a good opportunity to hold an impromptu Q school.

Circle Merkin 50

Mosey to the rock pile and grab one (some did not choose wisely)

Head to the intersection and perform 3 sets of 10 rock pikes (up count). We discussed proper cadence and gave PAX a chance to demonstrate

Mosey to the next intersection rinse and repeat

At the 3rd and 4th intersections we performed 3 sets of 10 flutter kicks with rocks OH.

PAX did a fantastic job with the cadence and calling out exercises.

Mosey back to the pile and return your rock.

Head to the front circle for birthday burpees. We would perform the number of burpees or WalMArt burpees corresponding with birthdays. Each PAX called out their birthday month, even numbers regular burpees odd numbers WalMart burpees. This is a good way to learn more about fellow PAX and keep everyone engaged. There was a lot of October-December birthdays and good mumble chatter.

Mosey to the center of the softball fields. We did an Indian run to keep everyone together.

AMRAP 10 Clorox merkins run to the sidewalk 10 jump squats. YHC prefers AMRAP over 7’s or 11’s. Prevents some from wanting to finish too quickly.

Mosey to the wall for Peoples chair OH clap 25x. Add a degree of difficulty by performing the claps.

Hold balls to the wall position while each PAX told their super bowl prediction. Cousin It picked the red team.
